Burning problem of Nepal is also the Orphan children problems. we can see in every part of country the problems of child. Each and every seconds the children are being orphan day by day.
Being the part of nepali citizen i requested to all the nepalese citizen of nepal and abroad please help the orphan children.
The condition of destitute,orphan and homeless children in nepal is deplorable.A number of children are seen prawling in the streets. Then are called 'khate' .More than 40% of the population of of our country are children .If we do not look after these children properly,we cannot hope for a bright future of our country.His Majesty's Government of Nepal has set up a National Children Committe to work out plans and projects for children's welfare.Under the children development project,children's welfare .Under the children development project,children's health ,food and education have been given priority.At the same time ,certain non-government organizatons, like Nepal Bal Mandir,Nepal children Organizaton and most of the social service organization have been running programmes to help the poor and disabled children.International agencies like SOS children village,save the Children Fund (UK and USA),UNICEF,ILO,etc have established their branches in Nepal to help the needy children of Nepal.
There are many children in the world who are poor,uneducated and unhealthy. Children comprises about 40% of the world's population .In the developing countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America there are many children who are starving.We see them begging in the streets.Some are employed in factories,hotels,restaurants and houses.They are not given proper wage for their works.The grown up people treat them as inferior, employ,them in work like sweeping, toilet cleaning,washing etc.They also suffer from sex abuse by the grown up people.Such an exploitation lead them towards theft,robbery and crimes.For the protection of children's rights a Children's Right Declaration was issued in Geneva, for the first time in 1924.Then in 1959 the General Assembly of the the United Nations issued a declaraton for the protection of children's rights.This declaration contains the provision of facilities for the disabled,handicapped and poor children. The year 1979 was observed throughout the world as International Children's Year.On November 20. 1989 the United Nations passed a resolution for the protection of children's rights.The resolution proposed tha all the children of the world,from the very conception to 18 years of age have their identity and nationality .
From my point of view i regard the orphan children's problem in the Nepal is also one of the burning problem of Nepal.Although various NGOS,INGOS and LOCAL Organization are working in this field but still we the orphan children begging in streets for their survival.I see above 80% of the children who are making their home in streets are smokers and drugs addicts this is all because of their ignorance,illiteracy and being the orphan.So as a conclusion i request to all of the people of Nepal and Whole World that please help the orphan children of Nepal and give them a New Life.and lastly i also request to the Nepal Government, various NGOS,INGOS and local organization please take care of the orphan children's of Nepal.
